[slideshow]When we missed our flight in Verona on 21st September I was excited! we get to spend a night in Verona, no, two! no more flights till Friday!
in German there is a saying: wenn Engel reisen … (when angels travel…) to keep it short we ended up in the old town, in an apartment called Romeo e Giulietta, owned by Hotel Mastino http://www.hotelmastino.it/
A happy mistake the receptionist made, as she send us off with the porter in the electric car to a small apartment .. which had already luggage in it! so off the porter goes for the keys to another apartment – Romeo e Giulietta, with private spa!
The hotel also opened a wonderful spa not too long ago, and we had the privilege of using it all by ourselves as it was already the last hour of opening.
Perfect after a day of shopping and aperitifs in these amazing piazzas and streets of Verona .. every corner you turn is another ‘wow’!
